WORKING FOR: The OAKS Holiday Centre (Norton, Sheffield)

WHERE: Based in Sheffield

WHAT THEY DO: Run holiday camps with teaching and physical enjoyment for children 8-18. School groups, church groups and individuals can attend for a weekend or 4 days. There is daily Bible study and discussion about Christian lifestyle. The team is composed mainly of “gap year” volunteers, some from the USA and a few full time staff.

FAMILY : The Thaws have 4 children
