Activities for Adults

Here at St Luke's  there is a wide range of activities for adults, some on church premises and others in peoples' homes.

Homegroups / Study Groups / Fellowship & Friendship Groups.   Various groups meet fortnightly or monthly in the daytime or evening.  If you would like to join a group or find out more about what is available contact Lesley Combe via contact us

St. Luke’s Lunches.   Offering friendship and fellowship over a meal together, for over 60s.  Transport provided on alternate Mondays.  Contact Jean Burrows via contact us.


 

 

 

 

 

 

Women’s Fellowship.   An afternoon of Christian fellowship, usually with a guest speaker, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 2.15 pm in homes in the area.   Contact Colleen Denman or Ann Emmott via contact us

Men’s Coffee Morning.   Fortnightly fellowshipevery other Thursday morning at 10 am in the Upper Room.   Contact Gren Morgan via contact us.

Ladies’ Coffee Morning.   On Thursday mornings, alternate weeks to the men’s group.  10 am in the Upper Room. Contact Dorothy Stratton via contact us

Women’s Evening Groups.   A varied and informal programme, for ladies of all ages, providing an opportunity to meet old and new friends. On the 1st Thursday, Girls’ Night Out: contact Nicola Pigott via contact us and on the 3rd and 5th Thursdays, Women’s Evening Group: contact Chris Trickey via contact us. Both of these groups meet at 8 pm in the Church Centre.

Men’s Group.   Pie & Pea Supper for Men - termly on a Friday evening.  Usually a social with supper in a local pub.   Contact Alan Combe via contact us.

First Friday for Men.   Noggin & Natter for Men at 8.00pm at the Sportsman, Lodge Moor on the 1st Friday of each month. Contact Colin Peskett or Nigel Thompson  via contact us.

Reading Group.   Held every couple of months or so in the evening.  An opportunity to meet and discuss a previously selected book.  Contact Shelagh Dixon via contact us
